cletus, Tom Moyers trigers may require a little more fitting than the Timney but are top quality triggers. Jim

The timney is not drop in, but works very well. They require some file and stone work to get the safety to work.

My border collie is smarter than your honor student.

Don't know the Moyers, but have two Timneys. You can put it in, but if you are not gun handy, a smith can do it for $15 or $20 (at least mine did). They are great triggers.

I own strictly Timney. I have them in all my Rugers and love them. They do require a little file and stone work. Just follow the instructions and keep trying the fit. If you take too much off, it is either braze on some more material, or get another trigger and start over. You can use a Dremil too, but you got to be careful. Only use it to take off bulk material. When you get close, use the fine files and stones.
