I second that decock only, but if you are interested in purchasing one, I highly recommend their safety model which not only has the safety feature but also the decocking feature(no cock & lock though). The decock model is offered because some law enforcement & security agencies have noted that in a stress scenario many individuals draw their weapon with the safety engaged and forget to disengage it, to rectify this agencies now arm their employees with double action only(no levers to confuse the confused) or decock only(lever springs back up after decock manipulated).Ruger, they sure have good choices, don't they! Just wish they had a 10/22 in .17 HMR[8D]

I have the decock only on a KP-90. I originally wanted the safety/decocker feature but settled for the decock only. The safety in the "decock model" comes in the very long trigger pull in the DA mode. It took me a while to get used to the way the hammer comes down when the decocker is used, about the same as pulling the trigger. I would recommend the decock model over the safety/decock model.

Worry is the interest humans pay on the debt of miscalculation.
