Waiting for a FFL or C&R

I recently put a 1903 Colt Semi-auto up for auction that closed on 7/22/03. While the winning bidder has sent me a M.O. I still haven't received a license from his FFL dealer. He seems to be putting me off in my emails and always has an excuse for the delay in the arrival of the license. It is now 8/17/03, which seems to be time enough for him to get a FFL to me. It is too soon to return his M.O. and cancel the transaction or should I wait a little longer? All opinions are appreciated.

  Relax. Most of us, at one time or another, had the opposite problem: We couldn't get the winning bidder to send us the MONEY. You've been paid, so you really don't have to worry.
  
  Yes, it is sometimes difficult for folks to find an FFL willing to accept delivery of a gun. Some dealers have limited hours, others are "vest pocket" dealers who may be difficult to locate. Things are especially difficult for those of us in states where the politicians thumb their noses at the US Constitution.
  
  Cash the money order. Even if the transaction falls through, you will need to deduct your auction fee before you send any money back.

  CASH THE M/O, SPEND THE $. GIVE HIM A YEAR TO GET THE FFL TO YOU. IF NOT RESELL THE PISTOL. YOU KEPT YOUR END OF THE BARGAIN.
