Colt Ultra Ten 10mm value & qty. produced?
I have a Colt Government Model pistol I received from my old man
and need some help finding out it's worth and quantity produced. Description: The pistol (5"bbl. full size) is duotone (blued slide/stainless frame) with 3-white dot fixed sights, adjustable skeletonized trigger, smooth walnut grips with gold Colt Medallions & front gripstrap vertical line serrations. There are no other special features on the pistol I can indicate. What may be interesting is the blued slide has a stainless barrel bushing & recoil spring plug. The left side of the slide is marked "ULTRA TEN" and below "COLT AUTO". The right side (slide) is marked "COLT GOVERNMENT MODEL" and below "10mm/SEMI-AUTO" The serial # is:UExxx The pistol was purchased new in the mid-1990's. It also came with a cardboard box with a Colt label and a sticker on the label marked "MAY 94". The box encased the plastic padded pistolcase. All paperwork was also included. I test fire almost every firearm I've purchased, so I fired 50rds. out of it. Any info appreciated!!![8D]

ATF, thanks for the advice- I figured I'd have to end up calling Colt. I posted three other Colts but diddly squat on info. I guess that's Colt's way of making sideline cash-name a firearm something fancy and then they don't tell us zilch about it. I think they should get their behind into gear and provide us papers with info(when we purchase a firearm) regarding any special production runs from now on.
