looking for mg34 or mg42 semi auto recievers
hello i have a parts kit of each of these 2 maching guns. i have seen the complete semi auto mg34's but no mg42's does any one have a place or company or source where to get the semi auto recievers. also is there a semi auto mg42 even made??? never seen a semi mg 42 at least yet. all information is greatly appreciated. i hope the mg34's out there are not rewelds with new welded feed rails which i heard is being done and is this illegal. i thought the line is once a machine gun alwats a machine gun on the reweld contraversey. so i am hopeing there are new manufactured semi auto's out there at a fair price that have passed all batf rulz.
i dont need them knocking at my door taking my toys[:D][:)][8D]
thanks

I thought it was quite the opposite... A gun can be converted FROM a machine gun with proper documentation and inspection, but the other way around was much harder. I do know some of the WWII fully automatic weapons were converted to semi-auto and sold on civilian markets. I am not sure however, which ones were allowed into the US. I'm sure one of the class III guys can help you out a lot better than I can. 0 -

BRP makes the MG 42's and may also sell just the receivers. Worth your looking into.
