Colt OEM mag or Mec-Gar?

Do I spend $41 for OEM stainless or $20 for Mec-Gar nickel?
It's for a 40 S&W 1911 style handgun.

  the Colt fans will tell you to get the factory colt mags. i say try one mec-gar first. mec-gar makes the "factory" mags for many gun firms, such as SIG- Sauer, Kel-tec, some berreta models, some smith models, taurus. as you see, they cant be all bad!
