1100 build date
I have a rem 1100 20 ga that I would like to order a hastings rifled
scpoe mt. barrel for. Im told that there is a build date cutoff and
their barrels only fit the later guns. Mine has ser# LxxxxxxX Can you
fellows tell me when it was produced and will the hastings barrel fit?
also have any readers used this combo and what are your thoughts.

Looks like Feb. of 1973. I believe there are 3 versions of the 20ga.
The standard, which I believe you have, there is also a "Lightweight" LW-20, which has Mahogany Stocks, Made between 1970-1976, The LT-20 1977 to 95. A Hastings barrel will fit, if it's the right one. Regards Dave0 -
