pre 64 Winchester Model 70

Looking at a .375 Pre 64 on the auction side and the barrel does not appear to have been crowned.

Take a look and see if I am missing something.

  I am looking at a used Winchester Model 70. The seller says he bought it "sometime in the 60s." The price is no bargain if it is a post 64 model; but priced low for a pre 64 model. When I go to look at it, how do I know quickly whether or not it is pre or post 64?

  PRE "64" HAS A CLAW EXTRACTOR. POST "64" HAS A PUSH EXTRACTOR. SERIAL NUMBERS WILL ALSO TELL YOU. GOOD LUCK.

  The last pre-64 model 70 serial number is 581471.
  last number in 1962 was 565592
  last in 1961 was 545446
