Looking for scope mounts

For a 270 winchester model 54. When I bought it it has a 4x32 hawk scope on it .I want to put a 3x9x40 or 50 on I have a raise the scope up it will hit the barrel. The scope mount on it now I never seen before. You take a screw out above the bolt on the scope and the scope turns out and you can take it off.

  52-- There are two or three mounts that work the way that you describe in your post as I understand it. Check out Leupold, Redfield,and I think one or two more whose names I can't remember.The mount bar, or base, should have a name on it.

  The plate mount says buehler mal in Cal

  Yep, that's a Buehler mount alright. I heard Buehler was back in business but I can't confirm. They were out of production for years. Weapon Works in Phoenix has a few 26 and 30 mm rings last time I checked. I have a 1" and a 30mm but only one of each[xx(]
