british proofed colt .45 1911, value?

i have a a british proofed colt .45 #1631032..the gun is in about 95to 96%. has a slight bit of wear on [8D]the muzzle from perhaps holster wear. it is parkerized and marked s5 or 55? i think it is a lend lease gun..can you tell me more about it and what would it be worth if i was to put it out for sale today? i have been away from the market on these gusn for several years...need some honest opinions...thanks

  We really need to know the exact markings. Canadian lend-lease guns had what appear to be British markings. Value depends on whether the finish is original or reparked, & if the barrel & all other parts are original.
