Interarms is out of business, so obtaining any warranty repair is not a problem.

Even if a warranty were available, due to the high cost of shipping a pistol (UPS or FEDEX Next Day Air), you would still be better off paying a local gunsmith to repair it.

It sounds like your sear spring has come unsprung in some way.

I don't know about Interarms fixing problems once a pistol is out of warranty, but it shouldn't be too hard to find a 'smith to work on such a widely distributed type firearm. The problem you're having doesn't indicate any expensive components have broken.

Interarms is out of business! Smith & Wesson is the American distributor for Walther now.
It's been my experience, that even though a firearm is out of warranty the manufacturer will go out of their way to help you resolve the problem if it is safety related, in light of the liabilaty issues they could face if they didn't. (Think the 3 L's, "Lawyers", "Litigation", and "Liability").
