AR15 Mag Probs

I have a Bushmaster XM15E2S (AR-15). I purchased some 30 round mags from TAPCO. They just came the other day. Here is a link to the mags... http://www.tapco.com/product_information.asp?number=MAG0926&back=yes&dept=156&last=73
The problem is that they don't click into place and fall out. The 10 round mag that came with the gun locks in perfectly tight. Anyone have the same problem with these mags?

  You want to buy mags for your AR-15 clone only if they are described as "USGI"; "military" is not the same thing. I have found that the Orlite & a couple of the other plastic mags work OK, but have not found any metal mags other than USGI that work well consistently.

  What you have is a steel mag... USGI mags are not steel, all USGI mags are aluminum. And the steel mags rust. I have seen some used in AR's but don't remember what make.

  Go to AR15.com and look under magazines under the AR15 forums. You'll find all you ever wanted to know, and you should be able to get USGI mags there too on the equipment exchange. Used USGI mags can be had for @$20 in good shape (not new, but not too beat up either) and if the Assault Weapons ban sunsets next year you should be able to get them cheap again.

  i have the same gun.usgi mags will work well try the sight onlythebestfirearms.com they have 20 and 30 round clips for like $20 and $30

  i must agree with all of the above. i also have the bushy in camo format. usgi mags are what you need. you cant skimp on a very crucial part of the weapons operation.

  Ditto, USGI are the way to go. The English SA-80 mags floating around lately are supposed to be good as well. Stay away from the mystery 30rd steel mags they sell at the shows and such, nothing but headaches.

  I have 2 of those gray steel "England" mags that your link goes to & they work great in my Rock River. We were selling those gray steel mags at our shop and never had any complaints with them.
  
  I've heard Bushamsters can be finiky on some mags. Friends of mine (got a lot of shooting friends since I work at a gun shop part time now) have had our gunsmith mill out the catch hole on the mags a little deeper/wider to make those orlite & thermold mags work in their bushy's. I wonder if these don't require the same thing. Also another good friend of mine tightened his mag release on his bushy a little, was too loose for the drum mag he was using. Not sure how he did it but will look into it for ya next time I see him.
  
  There's a shop near where I work my fulltime job that has loads of contract mags 20 & 30 rounders for about $20ea they also have tons of colt mags. I bought 10 contract mags from them, mostly Sanchez & OKay. They don't have a website yet but are shipping mags out by request. Here's their info if you're so inclined.
