Colt 125th Anniv Frontier & Buntline

Hello,

What can anyone tell me about Colt's 125th anniversary edition of a Nickel Single Action Buntline Scout .22 mag and a Nickel Single Action Frontier Scout .22 LR in a presentation case lined with red velvet accompanied by a commemerative coin? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Most of the .22 Commemorative Colt Frontier Scouts are now valued at about $450.00 in NEW Condition. There are a few exceptions to this...but, Very Few. The Blue Book of Gun Values has a Section on Commemorative Colts and you should be able to find yours listed there by the Model shown on the "Coin" with the gun......Good Luck!

  mouthbre, can you provide more details? Some of the commemoratives were produced in very small runs, and those are substantially more valuable than the $450-$500 range accurately stated above for the more common ones. What exactly are the markings on the barrels of the guns, the commemorative coin, and markings opn the boxes, if any?
