pre war/post war mdl. 94

can someone please tell me if a buttstock from a pre war mdl 94 win. will fit a post war but pre 64 mdl. 94 winchester before i buy it ? i have my mind made up i want a cresent buttplate on it but i dont want brand new & really want to spend $125 + doing it

  ALL PRE-64 M-94/92 STOCKS ARE THE SAME FIT (STOCK TO RECEIVER).

  Rick, Winchester widened the upper tang on the model 94 in the late 40s. You can fit an earlier one to it, but it takes a little fitting.
