What do you define as "Basic body armor?"

The 7.62 x25 is a fast little round and approaches Rifle Velocity - About as close to the .30 carbine as possible.

Brisco, I don't have a SGN in front of me so what is your interesting price?? SOG also has them listed for an interesting price and they include an extra mag and holster.

Understand SOG prices are for dealers and C&R license holders only. Tom

PS Just checking in case J&G may have a better price. T

Many dealers will order for you from SOG. Usually they ask $15-25 for this, per gun. I got mine from FAC. They may still have them. Yes, it can be a very accurate round, and it has a very high muzzle velocity. The CZ-52 is a reliable gun, and is interesting from both a historical and engineering perspective. When fired, it makes quite a blast and flash. SOG often also has Tokarevs, which also shoot 7.62x25 rounds.
