What choke tube do you prefer when dove hunting with a 12 ga.

  I USE A 20 GA 7&1/2 0R 8'S ON DOVES. 12 GA 2'S ON BIG DUCKS. 4'S ON LITTLE DUCKS. BBB OR T'S 3&1/2 12 OR 10 ON GEESE. GETTING READY TO START ON DOVES IN 27 DAYS. IF WE GET ANY WATER WE USUALLY HAVE A GREAT EARLY TEAL SEASON. BE SAFE

  Depends, Whats the average expected range to target? Shot size? My personal preference is I/C with #8 shot.

  I agree with "duckhunter" Imp/Cyl or Skeet works the best. The key thing don't over lead!!! I like the 3 1/4 dr. and the 1 1/8 oz of 8 shot the best. 9's if you are hunting in an orchard or a lot of trees. All I have to do is get them down on the ground, the dog does the rest. We are working on him climbing trees however! LOL

  how fast you react to the bird being flushed determines the choke. if you like em on top of you, skeet, i/c. if you forget to take off the safety and fumble.....modified.

  For me, I use IC choke shooting a Benelli Super Black Eagle with 28" barrel using Winchester AA 7 1/2 shot 1 dram shells. My brother-in-law always kids me about using "ICBM's" for dove hunting because I can drop them cleanly at long distances (at least 10 yards further than he can). I don't know if it's me, the gun, the ammo, (maybe a combo of all of the above) or what that allows it but they fold way out there just as hard as if they are 10 yards from me.
  
  Remember, on all 3 of your posts about shotgun... Whatever you decide on, pattern it on cardboard, take it to the skeet range and practice, practice, practice so on "game day" you can take the birds cleanly. [:)]
