Winchester AA Hul Reloading Danger?

    old news, The new hulls came out a couple years ago,however the fears have been largely unfounded.

    The hulls you speak of are also a different color than the old ones. They are DARK gray while the old AA hulss are LIGHT gray or red.

    I have loaded and fired thousands of the new hulls without any problems. When loading them heavy they will will not last as long as loading them light but the old hulls behaved the same way. I have to throw away just as many of the old style for cracking, ect as I do the new ones. I get up to 10 reloades out of either style when doing trap loads.

    Some people have had to make adjustments to their loaders to get the new hulls to crimp properly and not buckle. My MEC Grabber loads both styles without any adjustments. Winchester says the new hulls can be loaded the same as the old ones.
