Brno 2001 Mannlicher 9.3x62 from CZ

hello i see this rifle listed on the cz home page. i need to know how to get my hands on one and how much these rifle run retail or average going rate??? the barrel is 20 inches and weights 5 lbs 11 oz thats awsome and balanced!!!!!! hope some one can help. also does any one own one of these exact rifle and do you have any good loads???????????????????? all help is greatly appreciated.

    can't believe not 1 person in the united states has NOT bought this rifle MY luck is like this all the time:)9.3 is a .366 cal and only about a 200 yard gun MAX has a 20 inch drop at 300 yards but i want it to hunt bear and longest shot ill ever get is 75 yards.

    I don't think that it's a case of no one in the U.S. owning one or having no knowledge of this rifle. I'm sure that lots of us have experience with both CZ as a company and with the 550/527 series of rifles. Your question is posed as a request for information that is easily obtained from the internet, especially if you have the basic information from the CZ website. It took me about 30 seconds to locate a "for sale" price for the rifle that you are looking for. The CZ site has a "distributors list". By using a search engine, I just typed in "cz rifles" and got a list for all of the models that they produce and the link for your particular rifle with a price. You can also check on the Gunbroker's auction site and do a search there. Check the other auction sites as well.

    I'm not trying to steer people away from asking questions for information, not at all. The people on these forums have always been very forthcoming and generous with information. I am merely suggesting that instead of wondering why you aren't getting an answer, use a search engine and do a little foot work on your own, first.

    Insofar as getting information on loads and how a cartridge performs, that may be a different story. The 9.3x62 or in my case, the 9.3x64, has been around a long time in Europe but they are relatively new here in the U.S. in terms of general conversation and use. I am sending you an e-mail (if there is one listed) with some additional notes.

    hello it kinda of worded as a slam. but took no offence as i already did my homework. i have done all the foot work you have, plus more and still come up empty handed. i wrote you a email before i saw this post. the rifle you have listed is the cz 550 series. i am looking for the Brno no model designation manlicher that is a exact in apperiance to the 1903 or 1908 styer mannlicher shoenauer. the quality might differ and the brno is a single trigger not a double set. and the feed system of the styer is different the brno has a k98 or mod 98 feed system. but the cz and brno mannlicher differ alot from the link you have sent. i found this company before and saw it wasn't what i was looking for. cz 8 lbs brno 5.11oz and ballanced. cz 550 stock front sling assemlby is different. the cz has cz barrel the brno has custom made barrel from germany by Frankonia Jagd. cz trigger is 3-8 lbs adj brno is a 1-2.5 lbs. the bolt handle on the cz is a low scope look the brno has the classic butter knife handle. cz is drilled and tappped for weaver bases or some redfield bases brno are drilled for the zrak or eaw shaw mounts. trust me i have done my home work. cz price 600 brno 1300-1500 from the talk i've heard. all this great info but where can i buy them in the USA!!!! i dont know any one who has a imports licence so i cant deal with any of the retailers listed on the site. there are no USA companies listed. i found 1 us seller of brno action but what they were really selling were cz actions. im not sure if cz and brno are 2 companies in the same building or sister companies but there 2 different rifles.

    The best answers are achieved when the best information is given from the start. Had you posted the information from your second post at the onset, all of my babbling would have been avoided.
