Shotgun
I am tring to get a value on a NB Davis & Sons Double Barrell Shotgun. I think the gun is antique but have no idea the year, I cant find any numbers on the gun. Any information will be helpful.

Perhaps laminated steel means it has a damascus barrel?

If it has damascus barrels, which it likely does, it is best not to shoot it. The way damascus steel was made created microscopic voids in the metal and, over time, the steel has weakened. There is lots of controversy over this, but believe me, it's best not to shoot it.
If the barrels are not damascus, and you feel compelled to shoot it, do so only with black powder, or one of the modern black powder substitutes. Black powder guns were not made for the pressures created by smokeless powder.
As far as age is concerned, it's probably over 100 years old.
I am reluctant to estimate the value.

Remove the barrels and you'll find "ELG" un the underside... Belgian.
Laminated steel is a term used for one of the least expensive forms of damascus construction. Thus damascus.
Richards is a name commonly found on inexpensive Belgian knockoffs. It was used to confuse folks into thinking they had the English counterpart.
Muzzlestuffers are generally held in somewhat less esteem than their breachloader siblings. When you take into consideration that the gun was an inexpensive model to begin with, then it becomes pretty clear that today's value won't be great.

Value - $100.00 to perhaps $200.00 as a wallhanger. Almost zero as a gun.

NORD is most likely correct about the Vintage and Parentage of your Muzzle Loading Shotgun...But I disagree with the Value he's placed on it...Several years ago you could'nt hardly give these old Percussion Scatterguns away.....Now the market is showing a radical turn around...The supply is disapearing fast...and I'm seeing Guns that are selling for upwards of $500.00.....and more....! J&G Sales in Prescott, Arizona are asking for and recieveing upwards of $700.00 for Non Shooters ( To cover thier Butts)....and There was an Old Percussion Double in a Local Gun Store for $895.00...this was Two weeks ago....Yesterday when I was in the Store I noticed that it was Gone...! So...using that criteria I'd have to say that the gun you Discribed and in the Condition discribed....Your Gun is Worth $500.00..........
