Nikon Rifle scopes

Hello,
I am wondering how good are the nikon Monarch rifle scopes?
I ONLY used Leupold for over 10 years and found them to be flawless
even in hard core use/abuse ,Now i need a super quality fixed 4X with a 40mm objective and Nikon is one of the only ones to have one
Of course without mentioning the "Budjet" scopes which i DONT use.
Any Experience with this scope would be appreciated, Also i am mounting this scope on a Remington 7600 in 3006 which is going to be used for WOODS hunting Deer with the possible 100 yard shot ,Good choice?

  (Buckmaster-Monark). Anyone have or hear of any experience with the new generation Nikon scopes that are made in the Philippines ? They are reasonably priced but I wonder the quality of wokmanship.

  Go with Nikon, a better reticle, wtih clearer/brighter optics.

  from the 2 you mentioned,..I concur,...go Nikon.

  MONARCH!!!! Everyone I know who has used them really likes them. I would strongly recommend them for the money.

  One poster on the board seems to have had some service problems with Nikon several years ago, but I have a Monarch on a rifle and I would rank it near Leupold Vari-X III and Burris Signature. Definately the Monarch!
