Specifically, what makes the Jewel so good? I have used Shilen Competition trigger, Canjar Light Pull and Set triggers, and even some 2oz. REM triggers when they were still available. Couldn't see a pinch of difference in the function and reliablity of any of them. Only real difference was cost. As far as I'm concerned the Jewel is a very good trigger that is enjoying current popularity due to a lot of hype. You pay your dollar and take your choice and you will be satisfied with any of the quality triggers available.

Ditto on that ROYSHA, I have a Canjar on my Rem. custom 22-250 now for many many years. Works fine no problem. You get what you pay for.

jewell makes the best that i have tried. take a look at what the vast majority of benchrest shooters are using and you will find jewell used almost without exception. also most of the custom guns now come with jewell triggers.

from what I understand,..when placed on a machine that registers trigger pull in fractions of an ounce,..the jewell is by far the most consistent.

I have a hart,..a rifle basix as well,..and both are great triggers,...but I feel my jewell breaks so expectedly,..I shoot better with it. Could be in my head,...but I'll take it.

If you're talking about a semi auto like the AR15, the two stage Jewel may be a mistake.
