Serial # 509XXX, 75-80% Blue, modern grips and magazine. Stamped Ithaca Firearms on slide, Property of US on the frame. No rust, bore is clean.

  My dad has a usgi ithaca 1911, won't sell it to me for less than 400. I told him an SA might get him 400, but he says no.
  Anybody want to comment on this one?

  Actually, what you have is a Colt M1911 with an Ithaca slide. It has been refinished. Value is $250-350.
