    Agree, buy a good scope, preferable with a dot reticle. I use a Weaver V-16 rifle scope with dot reticle on my TC pistol and it works great. Practice until you know exactly what you and your TC can do. Start your 40 meter setting with the scope dials set at zero. Make a note of the number settings as the range progresses ie 3.2, 5.4,7.8, etc. Once this has been determined, tape the settings note to the side of the scope so it will be readily available during the match.
    Experience has show the real expensive ammo is not necessary but once you identify the ammo that works best in your pistol, try to get enough of that lot number to get you through the season.
