Dakota 97 Rifles

I am looking at purchasing a new rifle in .270 Winchester and was considering a Dakota 97 synthetic. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with them that they are willing to share. Are the Dakotas worth the money, and how is their accuracy when compared to other equally priced rifles.

  Take a look at this thread from another bbb.
  
  Be aware that Don Allen, the original owner of Dakota Arms, pass away earlier this year. Subsequently, a group of investers purchased the company but left the company intact. Call Dakota Arms and ask all of the questions that you might have, they are very nice people.
