Bushnell Scope

i got a bushnell sportview with my ar.....on near end dial (4-12 power) on far end dial(20-1000 yds) is this a good scope. thanks for your help.

  what is the dif. between a rifle scope and a shotgun scope
  and can you use a shotgun scope on a rifle for 100yard shots.

  Bushnells are decent scope for their new price. $10 is a steal. If you don't buy it, tell me where I can.

  Just another disgruntled trashnell owner here; $10 is what almost any of their scopes are worth. I had a sporkview 3-9X40 that dropped the reticle after a month, called the mfr(that's what I call 'em!), they informed me that for only $45 + shipping both ways, they'd replace the reticle-scope was $39.95 new. They were very nice about it, they answered the phone almost immediately, I was transferred to warranty claims within 30 seconds of dialing; their customer service is pretty darn good, but they can afford to be when they sell the same scope to you twice!

  Recently returned a pair of binoculars that were damaged in an ATV accident and a scope that wouldn't hold zero, both Bushnell. I paid the postage to them and received new for each in return. No charge. I have been doing this for many years and have nothing but good to say about Bushnell. I have sold many of their products, some better than others (you get what you pay for) and they have alway stood behind them.

  Thats a good buy for 10 bucks but I don't know how well it wil do on a .22. I think that scope is set up with a 100 yard parellex. As Far as Bushnells warrenty department they will almost always fix a manufacturer defect (reticle Dropping) for free in a scope that is owned buy the original owner.
