Walther p22

What are everyones thoughts on the walther P22, Im looking for a .22 that everyone from my parents, girlfriend and myself can enjoy. I really love the look of the walther, any PRO's and CON's I should know about?

  Hello All,
  
  I would like to know if I can lessen the trigger pull. If so, how would I go about doing it?
  Is there another trigger group I could buy, etc.

  Sometimes a lick or two on the point with a jewelers file works wonders on .22 firing pins. Sharpens them a bit if they have been dry fired or fired a bunch.

  is the hammer block turned part way to where it could block the hammer fall?

  may be hydrolic lock.
  Too much oil.
  Trying wiping the firing pin dry. Really dry.

  Thanks for your responses. The hammer block doesnt appear to be the problem. I guess I will try removing all oil. Metal on metal without any lubrication doesnt seem like the best idea. I use a super lite oil. When the hammer is back and ready to shoot, the firing pin, when pushed with small tool doesnt seem to move much. But if you leave the slide open, it moves more freely.??????????? Thanks again

  I got the same problem with it. Happend after every first shot. I now use CCI mini mags and the problems are gone.
  Hope they help you to.
