shotgun 1 had posted on a 10/21/2002 thread earlier in the week. In the thread guamnethad posted that the Federal or Horandy high energy/'light magnum' cartridges are not intended for use in modern semi-autos such as the Rem 7400 or the Browning.
Is this true? Appreciate the advice. I realize I may need to go to the Federal or Hornady site for answer.
