My dad has this gun since 1959. We need information on golden firearms company. Any information on the gun to.All we know that it is mauser action.

Golden State Firearms of Pasadena, CA. was a large firearms dealer/importer during that time period. Is it possible that it's their name on your Dad's rifle?

Golden is the name on the rifle. The model is Santa Fe 1946. I want to know a little history on the maker and model.

"Santa Fe" is a name associated with Golden State Arms. Your Dads rifle is probably a Springfield assembled by G.S.A. with a cast receiver made in Asia and ex-GI parts.
G.S.A. imported and sold a number of different types of rifles using the "Santa Fe" name (some of them quite valuable today), prior to them going out of business in 1966.
