EIG Titan .25 Pistol

Please help me identify this pistol. There are no importers marks on this pistol. It was purchased back in the 70's. It is chambered for the .25 acp cartridge and is chrome plated. This is not a die cast pistol. Other than proof marks the only identifier is the EIG stamp and made in Italy. What is this pistol, approximate value, history? Thanks.

  Your pistol was made by G. Tanfoglio ( Model GT-25). It's importation was curtailed after 1968 by the GCA-68. After that date they were assembled and sold by FIE in the U S, from Italian and U S parts.
  They weren't a high dollar/quality item back then, (1960's), and the passage of 35 years hasn't improved things for them, as far as value and/or quality is concerned.
