    This reply is for those who were curious. I'm working with Tom outside of this venue on the ID on the larger round.

    (a) The .44 Benet primed is actually the .45 Schofield, circa mid 1870s.

    (b) Although the nominal caliber is .58, the ".58" rimfires typically had a projectile of about .600" diameter.
