  From personal experience, the only negative thing is the terrible trigger pull. I weighted it at 17 POUNDS! Even with a replacement Wolff trigger spring it was 14 lbs. To heavy.

  Very ruggad pistol from the '70s and 80's. A lot of polimer, very long hard trigger pull. Had built in full auto capability with butt stock, but you could not buy butt stock! I shot a few of these, hell for stout, but nothing spectacular.

  The VP70Z was the first polymer-framed pistol, which is fun to point out to Glock fans who believe Glock holds that distinction.
  
  I disagree with pack rat that the VP70Z has a built-in full-auto capability with a butt stock. The VP70 has the full-auto capability, not the VP70Z. The VP70Z has no provision for attaching the butt stock, and contrary to what some believe, there is not a thin layer of plastic over the attaching areas that can be removed so a stock can be attached. The mechanism of the VP70Z is different from the VP70, with no full-auto parts designed to work with the stock even if it were somehow attached.
