sigmas second strike capable

was the sigma ever 2nd strike capable? my 40v aint. I thought I heard early on they were.

  The Sigma's are a striker fired system. Once you've pulled the trigger the striker will not reset until you pull back the slide at least far enough for the striker to catch again. A S&W 4006, 5906, etc. is second strike capable, but not the Sigma series guns.
