I want to buy a 7.62x39
I want a 7.62x39 to keep in my trunk. I already have an AK-47 but don't want to get it messed up, and it will get messed up in the trunk of my car with my carpenter tools.
I was looking at the auctions and SKS Yugos are very cheap.
What do you think of these? They sell for approx. $150.
What other 7.62x39 do you suggest?
Maybe I should just spend the $300 and something and get another AK-47.

If your specifically lookin for an autoloader, then an inexpensive SKS or Ak would be a good choice since the rifle will be getting beat up, but CZ also has a really nifty 7.62x39 bolt action carbine thats accurate and light.
Between the autos though, id have to go with one of the Romanian AKs, they cost a bit more but id say are worth it becuase of smaller size and more user friendly magazine design. Good luck!0 -
For cheap go with SKS, when it wears out or breaks from the abuse in the trunk, then buy another one and you're still barely to the price of a single AK 0 -
You just can't go wrong with an SKS ... Yugo, Romanian (although I hear the rear sight tends to fall off), Chineese are good and my personal preferance ... the Russians
