Re-barreling for a 260 Rem -----

Since the 260 Rem ,model 700 with a heavy barrel are so hard to find , what other 700 caliber action could I use, to re-barrel to the 260 ??????

  Any caliber in the .308 Win family (.243, 7-08, .308).

  DITTO: Any Short Action 700 will work, Including the Model 7,and the 600 series, But stick with the prescription "KDUB" gave and the Bolt Face will be correct. (Great Caliber the .260) [;)]

  basicaly,...anything with the .473" boltface
  
  why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....
