mdl 94 carbine buttstock

can someone please tell me if a stock from an "old" 1894 carbine will fit a pre 64 mdl 94? if it will will it be about the same as origianl except for cresent shaped buttstock? also what is a fluted comb? thanks to any & all that know----

  A post 64 buttstockfor the Win 94 will not fit the earlier models. To 64 3 buttstock styles were made for the 94: the standard and two shotgun style buttstocks.

  The comb is the part of the buttstock that the shooter's cheek rests on.
