Winchester 94 trapper nickle finish
Winchesters information site said they shipped some in Dec. 1999. They do exist.They look like a stainless finish gun. Jim

I also own a winchester 94 ae trapper in a finish that I thought was stainless steel. It is a very nice looking little rifle with pretty, dark walnut wood and surprising accuracy for such a short barrel. I am waiting on a return call from Winchester to provide information pertaining to date of manufacture, number manufactured, etc. Have you been able to come up with any information? I have an older (late 60s) 94 that's blue but with a nickel receiver. The wood is maple. It's nice looking. Doesn't seem to be a commemorative. It has no medallion or rollmarks anyway. Have any of you come across one of these? 0
