If you are looking for new-in-the-box but inexpensive receivers, you are really limited to one company, Montana Rifleman. Links are below.
Custom receivers are now available through several small manufacturers. Most of these are usually seen at the bench, being shot for extreme accuracy whether at 100 yards or 1000 yards. But there are a couple that have models available for hunting or tactical style rifles. Look at the sites and see what's available, then do some more searching and see what you come up with.
KBI, Inc./ Charles Daly receivers may be available yet this year if our government will get off it's butt and change some legislation that is preventing them from being brought into the States. You can see the ad for them in Brownells under "New Arrivals".

I know that there are more but this should give you a good start. Check on the specials that Montana Rifleman is running, there were some good prices available. Nesika Bay also has a section for "available now" rather than having to order and wait. Brunos and a couple of other suppliers have a 4 week delivery time for a basic model of the Nesika Bay receivers, Model J, I think. Shooters Corner in New Jersey usually has some receivers for sale but the supply varies.

If you are looking for a 98 Mauser action, don't forgrt to check with FN, Herstal belguim. I buy all my Mauser actions from them. They manufacture short, standard and magnum length actions. They come complete with everything but the barrel and stock, And can be ordered with any trigger you chose, or none at all, standard or sport saftey lever,etc.
