Help with value of Ruger Handgun
We are having a Friends of the NRA Banquet in Oct. One of the guns on the auction is a Ruger "MK 1 1/2". It is in Stainless Steel, and we were told that only 1,000 of the guns were made. Also the gun was a transition between the MK I and the MK II and the guns are the only ones that have Rugers signature on them. Does anyone know this gun and what it would sell for?[:)]

I think they made 5000 of them in about 1981.They came in a replica saltwater cod box like the original ones in 1949.They were stainless steel with Bill Rugers signature on them.I have never heard them called a Mark one and a half though.NEW IN BOX with all the paperwork in excellent condition I would say between $400.00 and $500.00---I passed on one recently
for $400.00 because the box had a broken lid. They are not that rare.
