Scope on Luger
Is there any way to mount a scope on a Luger with out doing damage to the gun?

With the toggle action that ejects straight up..... No. Sell the luger and buy a revolver.

You'd have to make a sheet metal bracket that mounts to the frame under one of the grips. The rh grip would be better so as not to interfere with the safety or takedown.
Since there is some looseness between barrel assembly and frame you may not get the accuracy the pistol is capable of.0 -
I personally think you'd be fighting a lost cause....Luger extracts, and the spent case comes up and back over your shoulder...A scope would have to be mounted off to the side and you'd have to learn to shoot a Pistol to far off center from your eye...just not feasable...Besides...if it could be done and improve the sighting system of a Luger, I'm sure the Germans would have already done it!..But for a second opinion I'd recommend that you contact Ralph Shattuck our resident Luger Expert and Author of The World of Lugers..
