could some tell me when my mdl. 94 was made #1551500 - also approx. value in 85-90% condition? thanks for any help - its not for sale, i'm just courious--

  manchie,
  According to my source,your gun was
  made somewhere between 1943 & 1948.
  Apparently there is a gap in the records.
  As far as value goes,a lot more info is needed
  for an educated guess.Caliber,barrel length etc.
  Hang on,I'm sure Capt. Kirk or someone else with
  more experience than me will be along soon.

  Rick, your gun was made in 1949. Blue book value in 90% is $325 unless it is in 25-35, and that is about what they sell for in my area.

  thanks much hunter - mine is 30-30 nice to have people around at the touch of a few buttons to share info with--stay sharp-shoot straight!

  prices on these guns have gone steadily up in the last 10 years. the rise in popularity of of cowboy action shooting, and a resurgant intrest in lever guns have driven the market up. you can easily add 10%-15% to the prices of most vintage leverguns. as a pre-64 winchester, you definately command a premium. while still common and available, they are peaking in popularity right now. .30-30 WCF is the least desirable chambering (and the most common). best regards, mike.
