What kinda guns are they ?

Hello,any movie buffs on here ? I was wondering if anyone knew what kind of pistols them gold colored guns are Nick Cage carryes in the move "Face off" with John Trovolta ?? Thanks,Oro

  I want to say that I read something somewhere about those pistols. They are Springfield Armory 1911's with 14kt 0r 24kt gold plating. I believe that the double small of the back holster was custom made by Kramer. The pistols did look pretty cool in the movie but not very practical for real life.[8D]

  They are Springfields ... if you have it on tape or DVD you can see the Springfield logo and the words "Springfield Custom Shop" on the slide near the beginning of the movie when he's jumping from the plane(?) and drawing to shoot at the feds ... haven't watched it in quite a while ...
