Stevens Whippet Mod. C

I have .22 cal.bolt action,single shot rifle.The markings are Stevens Whippet Model C. Manufactured in Chicopee Falls,Mass. I'm trying to find how old this rifle is and it's maybe it's value.[?]

  I've looked in every book I've got
  and haven't found anything mentioning
  "Whippet" or "mod.C" in any of them.
  HMMMMMMMMMMMMM.[?][?][?]

  Robert H. Balderson's Official price guide to Antique and Modern Firearms, Eighth Edition. Page 624...Lists the WHIPPET as being a Single Shot Shotgun and also known as the Model 94A...Made by Stevens Arms...Value in Very Good Condition...$75.00...Is it possible that your Gun has a Sub-Liner in the Barrel....? Also can you Post a photo...? One Picture is worth a 100 words...I might also add...in the Gun Traders Guide it shows the 94, 94C and 94Y...All Single Shot Shotguns...My Data Base shows absolutely Nothing on the Whippet Either......
