Percussion Musket Nipple Flash Guard

I'm trying to locate a source for a leather flash guard that fits over the nipple of a musket to prevent the wood from being burned when the cap explodes. This leather accessory ties down beneath the lock of the rifle. It needs to fit a Zouave Rifle. If you have one for sale or know where I can get one - let me know.

  piece of leather with a hole in it and two rawhide ties.......leather at boot store.......wal-mart hobby section.......hobby store.......or maybe an old used purse or leather coat(super fly pimp coat makes a bunch of covers) found at a second hand store..poke small hole in it to fit nipple......you will find that it will burn thru in about 20 or 30 shots.......this is what I use and I use a scissors to trim up.......hay I still got half of a 'Pimp coat' left that I can send you........'RIGHT ON BRO'...........john.........

  Cash also make one in nickle I believe. At least, that is where I got mine I think.
