bayonet
I am hoping someone can help me determine the origin of a bayonet I bought at an auction (said to be Nazi, but I doubt it). It has a half moon and star on the blade edge and a star on top of handle guard. The number 20255 is on side of handle guard and letters "AS FA" on end of handle. Can anyone help me find out information about it? Thanks in advance.

concerning my earlier post about the same bayonet. I believe that indeed it is a 1938 turkish mauser baynet. how much would it cost. 0 -
SOG had them earlier this year for around 4 bucks but they are now out. Smokey Mountain Kife Works has them for $6.99 or $6.49 (3 or more) I have seen them for $50.00 n antique stores. Tom

Ten Bucks with Scabbard at J&G in Prescott, Arizona......
Under Ten Dollars from Smokey Mountain Knife Works back in Tennesee somewhere...Buy a Turkish Mauser from J&G for $69.95 and they throw in a Bayonet and Scabbard....Not much demand for these Bayonets....not to say that 25 or so years from now they won't be worth maybe...$25.00 or so....hardly worth getting excited over...........
