Out of State Transfer

I am going to Minnesota for the weekend..I'd like to do the following if it's possible. Can I bring a pistol that I need to transfer and do it directly with the firearms dealer, or do I have to ship it through my dealer in my home State? I really need help on this one..Thanks, Andy

  No problem taking it with you in order to transfer to a dealer in another state, as long as you don't transport it through a state/country where possession is prohibited, and as long as you have it legally secured. It would be a good idea to phone the dealer & make sure that this is OK with him.
