These are excellant hunting bullets, similar to Nosler Ballistic Tip. Use them on deer, elk, bear, hogs, etc. etc/ Good bullet, I use .30 150 gr in my '06

.270 Winchester (.277" bore), optimum all around bullet weight in that caliber. I don't know that I would recommend the use of the .270 on bear, and elk is arguable depending on your skill, but for any deer, antelope, mountain goat, bighorn sheep or other thin skinned game in that general size range, the .270 is a superb cartridge and the bronze points are good bullets. 0 -
Bronze points are very good bullets, I recently picked up 2 boxes of 180gr in .308. What I am curious about is with the bronze point being as good as it is, why has it not been marketed more? These seem to be really great bullets, what happened? I can not remember the last time I saw Remington ammo loaded with the bronze points, and there appears to be very limited interest in them?
