can some one tell me the diff, between skeet and trap shooting ?

  I just started shooting trap and i was wondering what size shot you guys like to use. I have used 7 1/2 and 9 shot in handloads. What do you use??

  Trap is the shooting of clay pigeons that resemble the flushing of hunting birds. That is all are going away from you, the shooter. The shooter starts at one of five differant positions, and takes five shot from each position. The shooter that started at the number one position is always the first shooter after changing postions.
  
  Skeet is a game that resembles passing shots of wild birds, except that the distances are about twenty yards. And the shotguns shoot open or "Skeet" chokes. The birds are launched from a high house and a low house, at opposite sides of a semi-circle and the shooters rotate around differant positions that change the "lead" that the clay requires.
  There are a lot of variants to these basic games and both are a lot of fun.
