Anything is possible....But in this particular case its not worth the effort, besides being Down Right Dangerous...You'd have to have access to Fulminate of Mercury and have to be a Journeyman Machinist to make the Dies and Tooling to make the cases...etc....So actually the answer would have to be NO...!

I think the Capt is right about reloading. It would be possible to make a cartridge using pistol primers that would be reloadable. It would use the pin as a firing pin to punch the primer. With size being critical, it might require a large diameter cartridge, possibly shotgun size, to fit it all in. Again as the good Capt says, it would take know-how and equipment and a lot of effort. I dabbled with the idea some years ago and sketched up a design but didn't follow up by trying to make it. Someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse for my pinfire shotgun.
