ATN 7900 Prime Select or US NV 443? Is the price differnece worth it?

I am trying to purchase an amt MK 6500Bnight scope. Does anyone know if this is a good scope and what to expect from it.I am able to get it for 800.00Is this a good deal and if not, what would be.

As for "NightVision" Scopes - The Russians build the absolute best (for the money). "New Con 3rd Generation" Rifle Scope is very clear and will focus at 100yds plus. The price will not break you up and the quality is there, comes with an Illuminator, which simply slides off and into the pocket, >if the other party happens to have an "Irish Light" of his own. Fits perfectly well on an AR-Flat Top. And takes the recoil of a .223 with no problems, (I can't testify to the larger Calibers). [8D]

I have a US night Vision 241K and I can get a shootable view (i.e. tell a dog from a coy-dog) at 150 yards on a cloudy night. The 443 would go beyond that. Do a few searches as there have been several topics on night vision that GB members who really know the tech. differences between US and Russion made intensifier tubes have replied to.

My opinion is that if you can swing the bucks, get the 443 and don't look back. Some of the night vision manufacturer websites have charts on what to expect for range based on various levels of ambient light.
