outers gun cleaning kit
I have found an Outers gun cleaning kit while cleaning out the basement. I have no knowledge of these things so I was wondering if it had any value. The kit is in perfect condition, never used. The outside of the cardboard box is red and white it is stamped with .30 cal and the # 477. Inside of the cardboard box is a red metal box there is yellow printing on the outside of the box it says Outers gunslick rifle kit. Inside of the box there are three rods one with a handle. There is also a can of oil a box with a jar of solvent and a box of patches also a tube of anhydrous graphitic there is a bore brush and two patch attachments. There are also two shallow plastic trays to clean parts. Thanks in advance for your help any info would be appreciated. Jim

This is an item that you can purchase in any gun store or outdoor sports retailer in the neighborhood of $20.00 new.

The metal cased ones ore obsolete now. The new ones are plastic. The old ones in NIB condition fetch about $20 or so. 0 -
Id say if it is like new you could get 25-30 for it. 0 -
